Joanelle and JobieWhen you purchase a fine wine and open it to enjoy, it will taste better and better the longer you leave it out. I feel it's the same with photography. Joanelle and Jobie were the first couple that I ever wanted to take photos of when I first started photography, but for one reason or another, more than 2 years pass and we just never got around to it. In retrospect, I'm glad, because I can say without ego that these are some of the best photos I've ever taken, and I'm so glad that they are of two of my closest friends. I'm really looking forward to flying to the Philippines this summer for their wedding

. Believe me, my camera is coming along! I'm not going to miss such a wonderful photo opportunity. Congratulations guys, I'm truly happy for you two and I'm thankful that I was a part of your life and blessed I was given the chance to take photographs and show you guys your love for each other on film

. Gosh it's just so easy taking photos of beautiful people, and on top of that, people that are truly in love with each other!

We were all wearing Chucks that day

Good job, Lawrence! All of the photos are great, but there's something about the perspective + angle of the 14th photo that I really like in particular.

Lots of costume changes for this couple! I like the Converse picture (reminds me of a pic my sister took at my cousin's graduation).
The best has to be the prom outfit pics. Nice vintage blue tux!

Hi Lawrence. Your photos really inspire me. This is a beautiful set and I really enjoy the three different attires and scenery. The maroon colored tshirt on the lady goes so well with the similar hue of the graffiti painting..was that planned intentionally? It works so well! :)
that red dress rocked. she is a hottie! they're such a great couple and i don't even know them :)!
the bright wall makes for a great backdrop. she looks so awesome in the red dress.
